Covid 19 Measures for who travelling to the Azores



Measures Implemented in Portugal

Portuguese government has been taking all necessary public health measures to protect the entire population as well as our visitors.

Measures in force may be reviewed in accordance to the evolution of the pandemic.


AZORES

ALLOWED (Essential and non-essential travel)

  • Flights from Mainland Portugal or Madeira

A valid EU Digital COVID Certificate, or
RT-PCR Test - 72h before boarding, or
Laboratorial Rapid Antigen Test - 48h before boarding (according to the European Commission list based on the Council Recommendation of 21 January 2021), or
Recovery Certificate (valid for 180 days)

  • International flights

All passengers must present, at the time of departure, proof of laboratory testing of RT-PCR (NAAT) or laboratorial Rapid Antigen Test carried out within 72 or 48 hours prior to departure time. In the case of the digital Recovery Certificate, these are valid for 180 days.

  • Children aged 12 and under can travel without a certificate or test.
  • All passengers need to fill Questionnaire at https://mysafeazores.com, with exception of EU Digital COVID Certificate of vaccination or recovery holders.More information at www.visitazores.com
